Singer/guitarist paula mcmath fuses her insight with her musical instincts to produce a poignant, frank expression of what she has lived.
She draws on a performing career which has spanned from her native Southern Ontario to Western Canada down the coast to Los Angeles where she now calls home. She has been a part of various musical collaborations and projects, over the years, which bring to her work various influences from rock and blues to a cappella, jazz and electronica.

Her second CD because we bleed has just been released. This CD is paula's first studio recording and includes songs she wrote over the past couple of years. Her first collection of songs, mud flap girl (2003) is a document of some earlier collaborations which she assembled from live recording sessions.

Paula sang, played piano and began writing songs as a little girl in small town Kingsville, Ontario.
